Office Administrator/Receptionist



The successful candidate will work as part of the Human Resources Team and be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Provide above average customer service to internal/external Team Members, Customers, Suppliers, Contractors and Visitors
• Handling a multi-line phone system; answering, screening, transferring of calls
• Processing all daily correspondence; mail, couriers, faxes, memos and other documents
• Maintain Meeting calendar and coordinate all related activities in preparation for those meetings (Supplies, Coffee, Luncheon as required)
• Scanning
• Coordinate travel and agendas
• Maintain Outlook Contacts/Visual Customer files
• Maintain office supplies and boardroom inventories
• Provide administrative assistance to Departments as required
• Support company activities, events and fundraisers

To be successful as a member of our Human Resources Team, you will have:
• Diploma in Office Administration or minimum of 3 years of experience in related role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

CNC Machinist



The successful candidate will work as part of the Manufacturing Team and be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Operate CNC Mills and Lathes in the production of standard and customized parts to critical tolerances
• Read blueprints and perform set up of machines according to diagram
• Follow work order instructions to customer requirements
• Validate quality of products using measurement devices
• Record dimensions and highlight deviated dimensions
• Ability to read and understand G-Code or Mazatrol programming

To be successful as a member of our Manufacturing Team, you will have:
• A minimum of 5 years related experience in a steel processing or fabrication environment
• Completion of an Apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and understand blue prints
• Experience in the operation of Mazak, Mori Seiki, Matsuura or OKK machines an asset
• Ability to read and understand G-Code or Mazatrol programming
• Understand and follow the policies and procedures of the Quality Management System
• Understand and follow the Health and Safety Management System





Quality Inspector



The successful candidate will work as part of the Manufacturing Team and be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Review all documentation as per established Fabris Inc. work instructions (ie. work order packages, certificate of compliance, etc.)
• Ability to program and operate Zeiss coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
• Perform inspection of incoming raw materials, first offs, in-process inspections and final inspection
• Inspection of outside processing parts (heat treating, LPI)
• Perform dimensional First Article Inspection reports
• Generate and disposition non-conformance reports
• Report all quality concerns to management
• Calibrate and control of records for all Team Member and Fabris Inc. inspection tools
• Communicate with Production and Engineering departments on quality issues
• Perform hardness testing
• Attend continuous improvements meetings and complete projects, as required
• Understand the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)
• Understand, update and follow the policies and procedures of our Quality Management System (QMS) and how it relates to Customer Service – both External and Internal

To be successful as a member of our Manufacturing Team, you will have:
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical related field or equivalent experience
• Above average competency in Math
• Minimum 5 year's experience in Inspecting in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Competent in the use of machine shop inspection tools
• Familiar with ISO9000/9001 requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word





Technical Inside Sales - Estimator



The successful candidate will work as part of the Engineering Team and be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Utilize CAD Inventor to build a working concept to satisfy requests from our customer’s base, primarily in the steel industry
• Design and proposal will include the full costing evaluation of the project and completion of a commercial offer to be submitted to the customer by the Outside Sales Team
• Utilize knowledge base from the application of our steel equipment product line applied to the shaped rolling and manufacturing process of hot rolled metal forming
• Complete quotes using data and resources from previous installations, on site trip reports, input from the experienced technical group both inside Fabris Inc. and Outside Sales Staff and our steel manufacturing customers
• The successful project will be accepted by our customer and your proposal model will be transferred to our Engineering Team for completion of detail part drawings before manufacturing begins
• Provide assistance and technical information to support to our Outside Sales Team and Steel Customers
• Monitor successful projects through production and ensure timely communication is provided to the Outside Sales Team
• Understand and follow the policies and procedures of the Quality Management System
• Understand and follow the Health and Safety Management System

To be successful as a member of our Engineering Team, you will have:
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline or minimum of 3 years related experience in a steel processing or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in parametric modeling and design concepts
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, BOM and Visual ERP an asset
• Previous experience working in a design/manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO program
